The incredible shrinking NES; now in Micro size!
Made possible by BenHeck Ben Heckendorn of course. Using modern Nintendo-on-a-Chip technology, he has proved that you can shrink the beloved NES console into something the size of Nintendo’s own GameBoy Advanced Micro. Though requiring four AA batteries, it is noticeably a lot thicker, but it needs all of that to run the external speakers and 2.5″ LCD display.
Though this model isn’t for sale, BenHeck provides the history of his project including cross-section schematics at his own project page.
